The Africa Contact Group for Mental Health and Deafness (ACGMHD) consists of volunteer Deaf and hearing individuals, professionals and community leaders concerned about the health and well-being of Deaf people and their families on the African continent.

The ACGMHD has no fixed members. All persons attending meetings do so on a voluntary basis, not for personal gain, to further the purpose, aims and objectives of the ACGMHD. Each person will be entitled to one vote.
